Color, lots of color, as well as, art galleries, crafts, music, gastronomy and other ingredients come together to make the “Gallery, Arts, and Gastronomy Nights” in Aguada a night where people can connect with art and gastronomy in a social and fun environment accompanied by family and friends. “The first edition was a complete success and we will be offering the people in attendance a joyful family environment. This event brings together various artistic spaces and summons everyone to enjoy a different night, full of color, art, and good energy. Everyone is invited and we hope it will be a true celebration of culture,” stated Roberto Rivera, event organizer.
The second edition will take place on Friday October 17, 2014 at the Cristobal Colón Public Square from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. where the public can enjoy art galleries, crafts, local Puerto Rican products, sangria, liquors, and the gastronomic offers of local restaurants and exhibitors. The event will also feature live music from Magic 99.5 and DJ Ivan Robles, as well as, a music video performance by DJ Dereck Morris, Zumba with Silvia and Jarito, a “batucada” and “pleneros.”
Among the various restaurants and exhibitors presenting a myriad of gastronomic offerings at the event are: Chef Damian Hernández, Executive Chef of Hotel Verdanza, Parador Perichi’s & Perichis’s Pool Bar, Copas Wine, Beer & Tapas, Made in Italy, Casa Linda Restaurant, Las Lomas Restaurant, Chef’s Fine Caribbean Cuisine, Red Flamboyán Restaurant, Pineiro’s Latin Cuisine Restaurant, Toro Bravo Food Services, Café-Deli, The Coffee Spot, and Brazo Gitano Franco. Also, drinks and cocktails by Bacardi, Dewar’s, Coco Real Cream of Coconut, Master of Mixes, Finest Call, Professional Bartenders & Mixologist, Changueria Bar & Grill, Bartenders, Waiters and Maitre D’ Association (BWMA), Tiki Bar, and Sangria Saborea La Lola.
