Aromas, textures, white, and dark are several of the tastes and smells that people will be able to enjoy at the 5th edition of the Coffee & Chocolate Expo to be held at the Puerto Rico Convention on September 20-21, 2014. The event opens its doors at 10:00 a.m. at the Tea Pavillion. “We are coming back to celebrate the 5th consecutive year of the event which we have denominated as the largest coupling of Aroma and Taste in the Caribbean, since all those in attendance and their families will be able to enjoy a great variety of coffees, chocolates, and complementary products. The main focus of ??this event is to continue exposing both industries to coffee and chocolate lovers, as well as, business owners and individuals that wish to learn more about both products,” said Pedro Fernández Jerez, partner CUBE Events Group, producers of event.
The public will be able to perform an ample tasting with over 140 exhibitors and enjoy a variety of talks related to learning how to make coffee and chocolate at home, the art of coffee roasting, and how to establish a coffee shop. Also in attendance at the event will be Chef Ricardo de Obaldía (Casa Cortes ChocoBar) and a select group of professionals who will delight the audience at the Chef’s Showcase concocting a variety of dishes which incorporate ??a coffee and chocolate base.
This year, those in attendance who want to learn more about both industries will love the alliance between the Coffee & Chocolate Expo, the Special Coffee Institute of the Caribbean, and the Coffee and Barista School of Puerto Rico. As an added bonus, the Coffee & Chocolate Academy will give the audience the opportunity to take lectures and workshops in the Coffee Room, the Cocoa Room, and the Barista Room.ly or just for their own personal development. If individuals are serious about breaking into the industry, they could always attend a Barista Course Melbourne, depending on where they reside.
At the event, there is entertainment for the whole family since there will be exhibitions by the Puerto Rico Bartenders Association, the Puerto Rico Barista Team, as well as, shows from “Ballet Folklórico” and the clown Remi.
