Every Thursday, La Carnicería, the first speakeasy bar of La Placita de Santurce, will host a series of events that will recreate the unique ambiance of the prohibition era with live music from local DJ’s, artisanal cocktails prepared with the luxurious brands of the WorldClass portfolio (Johnnie Walker, Ketel One Vodka, Tanqueray No. Ten gin, and Bulleit Bourbon Whiskey) from Méndez & Co., and subterranean gastronomy. La Carnicería is discreetly located on the second floor of the newly inaugurated restaurant Asere Cubano Kitchen/Bar.
During the event, fans of quality cocktails will be able to enjoy a different ambiance where various local DJ’s such as: Lucha Libre Dj Set, Gulembo, and Turista y Vinilos will be showcasing their talent. Each Thursday, the mixologists at La Carnicería will craft a unique menu with the WorldClass brands to impress the senses and pair them with the featured live music.
Among the cocktails those in assistance can enjoy are: the Black Julep; the Classic Mojito made with Ketel One vodka, the Lavanda Bruja crafted with Tanqueray No. Ten, and the Bulleit Bourbon Old Fashioned.
