Fans of ultra premium Ron Zacapa, considered one of the finest rums in the world, will have the opportunity to experience the first sensory tasting of the famous spirit on Thursday, March 26 at 7:00 p.m. at Zest Restaurant at the San Juan Water Beach Club Hotel. The tasting will be led by Alexandra Rivera, Ron Zacapa’s local ambassador, who will offer a memorable tasting of the luxurious Zacapa 23 and Zacapa XO. The dining experience will be in charge of chefs Raúl Correa (Zest) and Xavier Pacheco (La Jaquita Baya), who have designed an exclusive menu to pair with Ron Zacapa. For this occasion, guests will be greeted with a welcome cocktail. Then, in order to live the complete experience, diners will be assigned a sense-guide who will provide the sensory stimuli of aromas, textures and flavors.
Zacapa was born on the mountains of Guatemala and has two varieties available in Puerto Rico: Centenario XO and Centenario 23, whose difference lies in the period which each is aged. As evidence of its exquisite quality, Ron Zacapa Centenario has been awarded several international awards over the years, where it was chosen to inaugurate the “International Hall of Fame of Rum” in the International Rum Festival.
