Street food lovers can once again enjoy the culinary delights of the street at the second edition of FUDIS: Gourmet Food Truck Festival. The event, presented by the luxurious St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort Puerto Rico in Rio Grande, will be held on Valentine’s Day weekend from February 14 to February 15 and will feature more than a dozen food trucks with high-quality culinary offerings. “Our first edition of FUDIS was an experiment and thanks to the support of food lovers, it was a success,” said Terry Bechtold, General Manager of The St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort Puerto Rico. “This year we are coming back with a new edition that promises to surpass the success achieved,” said Bechtold.”This event is the best alternative to escape the routine of every year. The varied culinary offerings that will be present at the event consist of the following food trucks: BlueFin, The Camper, Veuve Clicquot, The Meatball Company, La Preña, Bowl Bus, High Kitchen, Kona Ice, Tako, Barista Café, West Coast Wheatgrass, Señor Paleta, La Chilanguita, La Pendejá, Lechonera La Jibarita and Donde Sea, who had the largest public support and was the winner of the People’s Choice. In turn, St. Regis will present two culinary concepts: one presented by renowned pastry chef Anibal Rodriguez who will join the renowned Veuve Clicquot champagne elaborating desserts to commemorate the occasion, as well as, the official gourmet food truck of the resort, The St. Pod Regis, who returns for a second time with a menu crafted by its executive chef, Gustavo Sánchez. Further, the event will feature a special room for coffee lovers presented by Barista Café where they will have delicious gourmet coffee creations available.
For families who wish to attend the event with their children, FUDIS will feature for the first time Camp FUDIS, giving the young ones the opportunity to enjoy a version of the culinary event specifically designed for them. The spaces for Camp FUDIS have a cost of $35.00 per child, in addition to the price of the admission ticket.
