On March 14, the Aguada Convention Center will transform into a huge dining hall where attendees can taste the spectacular fusion of flavors of the most important hotels, restaurants, universities, institutes, catering, sangrias and coffees of our island. Also available will be wine and liquor tasting for the delight and enjoyment of all. Those in attendance will also witness the demo kitchens of renowned local chefs who will delight the audience with their creations and skills. In addition, a gallery of painters and artisans will be present at the event accompanied by live jazz and the best music of the 70s, 80s, and 90 with Dj Emil Cedeño from Magic FM who will get everybody up and dancing.

Roberto Rivera, the event’s organizer, explained to us the details of the “People’s Choice Awards” where the public in attendance will vote for their favorite restaurant or exhibitor based on flavor and presentation. The restaurant or exhibitor that wins will take the first prize of $700 dollars, the second place will receive $400 dollars, and third place will receive $200,” expressed Robert.
In the demo kitchen, recognized chefs will be participating along with local talents. Each participating chef will have a creative dish to offer during the event. Among the chefs participating in the demo kitchen are: Chef Angel Santiago (Lola Eclectic Cuisine), Chef Marilyn López (Cocina VIP), Chef Damian Hernández (Hotel Verdanza in Isla Verde), Chef Fernando Parilla (Director of the Culinary Arts program at MBTI), Chef Jeremie Cruz (Villa Montaña Beach Resort), Chef Hector José Gonzalez (Latin Flavor’s), among others.
