This summer, Di Parma Trattoria has created an out of the ordinary gastronomic offer which pays tribute to different cultures. “We wanted to go beyond Italian food and bring new options to our diners,” stated Chef Yamil Cintrón. “Thai food has always been one of my favorites and in its honor I created the Thai Coconut Seafood Chowder. It is something that many do not expect from Di Parma but I am sure that the guests will love it,” added chef Cintrón.
Among the dishes available in the summer menu are the Pistachio Crusted Saku Tuna, a jicama and watercress salad with sushi grade tuna covered with pistachios and a ponzu dressing. The Seafood Pizza¸ a thin crust pizza with rock hind fish, fried calamari, red onion relish and smoked Gouda. The House Made Batata Gnocchi accompanied by langoustines that are made with local sweet potato and served in a creamy brandy sauce. You can also enjoy the Crawfish Cannelloni with house made pasta or the Rib Eye Steak with a Portobello mushroom risotto and rosemary demi-glace.
In addition to the food, the summer menu includes two refreshing cocktails that inspire those who visit the restaurant to take in the sunset at the al fresco terrace available at the restaurant. The Black Tea Sparkler is prepared with gin, balsamic raspberry tea and prosecco. The Peach Perfect is elaborated with aged rum, ginger liquor and peach puree.
Our favorite dish hands down was the delicious and addictive Thai Coconut Seafood Chowder. We recommend you request that they make it spicy, you won’t regret it. Pair the dish with the amazing Black Tea Sparkler and you have the perfect combination.
