The wine lover’s event of the year is coming your way: 10th Edition of Méndez Top 100 Wines. It will be held on Friday June 17 at 6:30 pm at the Grand Salon of the luxurious Paseo Caribe. Those in attendance will be able taste wines distributed exclusively by Méndez & Co. which have been awarded between 90 to 100 points by various experts such as Robert Parker, Stephen Tanzer from Vinous, David Schildknecht, Monica Lamer from Wine Advocate, among others. The event’s special guest will be the respected and prestigious winemaker Angel Gil Vera, the 4th generation of a family who is currently celebrating the first century of Bodegas Juan Gil, founded in 1916. Also in attendance at the event will be the distinguished winemaker María Barúa from Bodegas LAN, creator of LAN D12 and Emmanuel Kemiji, Master Sommelier.
Food for the event will be in charge of Chef Lorraine Colón, Bodega de Mendez’s resident chef, with pastries by Il Nuovo Mercato. Tickets for the event are $100 per person plus tax for participants of special programs, $125 plus tax for the general public. Valet parking is available for $8.00.
